Recent trends in smartphone‐based optical imaging biosensors for genetic testing: A review

چکیده

Genetic testing plays an important role in human health management and disease prevention. However, traditional genetic methods have been unable to fulfill the current diagnostic needs owing several limitations, including high cost, complexity, difficulty performing. Smartphones multiple inherent advantages, such as easy portability, ubiquity, fast processing speed, excellent imaging capabilities, enormous potential realizing rapid on-site testing. The present review documents research progress of smartphone-based optical biosensors fields colorimetry, fluorescence, microscopic for Furthermore, describes their applications diagnostics, which range from infectious diseases hereditary cancers. Finally, challenges perspectives regarding are discussed.
